Private sailing: Two islands & one national park

3 days

About Tour

There is no better way to spend your days on the coast than sailing to the greenest island of the Adriatic Sea. The enchanting beauty of the Mljet National Park along with the historic Korčula and a dozen hidden coves for diving and swimming is the perfect blend of dreamy sailing vacation. Please note that sailing itineraries depend on the weather conditions, and they can change according to client preferences.

From Slano to Korčula

The sailing trip starts from bay Slano and heads to Korčula town. On our way to the city of Korčula, we will have several stops for swimming, snorkeling, and paddling in one of the secluded coves. We will spend the night on a boat anchored in the town of Korčula, which means you have plenty of time to explore the rich history, culture, and gastronomy of this small town.

National Park Mljet

In the morning, we sail from Korčula towards the island of Mljet. In the western part of the island, there is a national park covering an area of 54 km². This greenest island includes lake Veliko Jezero with the islet of St. Mary, lake Malo Jezero and villages of Goveđari, Polače, and Pomena. The best way to explore Mljet is by bike. You can rent one at the entrance to the National Park. Within the park, there is a mild bike path around 9 km long. We will anchor and spend the night in Polače bay. Polače is a hamlet in the western part of the island. It is also the largest bay in Mljet, surrounded by the four small islands. Due to its sheltered position, the bay is an excellent spot for anchoring. The village has several ancient ruins, the most important of which is the Roman Palace, dating from the 5th century BC. After Diocletian's Palace in Split, it is the second-largest Roman building in Dalmatia.

Sand paradise - Saplunara

In the morning, we will sail along the coast of Mljet to a place called Saplunara, the eastern side of the island. This isolated lagoon with white sand is the perfect place to relax and also capture great photos. If you decide to do some exploring around, you will find a great variety of plants. The voyage will end in the late afternoon at the point where we started our tour, Slano.
